Returns
If a product isn’t what you needed, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price, as long as it’s unused, in its original packaging and in brand new condition. We’ll need your order number or proof of purchase. After 30 days, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange for change of mind.
How to return a product
Contact us at mail@constructionproducts.co.nz or call 09 444 2260 and we’ll send you a return courier label. Unless the return is due to an error on our part, return freight is paid by the customer and the original delivery cost is not refundable. We’ll confirm the return freight cost with you before sending the label, and either deduct it from your refund or invoice you separately.
If you’d rather send the product back yourself, you’re responsible for the cost, and we recommend a trackable service, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive items sent without tracking. Our address is 8/41 Porana Road, Wairau Valley, Auckland 0627. You’re also welcome to drop it off in person. Please enter from Porana Road.
Exceptions
- Adhesives and other consumables with an expiry date can’t be returned more than 7 days after delivery, unless the product is faulty.
- Moonbay pedestal returns attract a 15% restocking fee if they’re dirty or have been disassembled. To keep them clean and avoid the fee, we recommend leaving pedestals in their carton until you’re ready to use them. Damaged pedestals can’t be refunded.
Faulty products
If something arrives damaged or faulty, contact us as soon as possible with a photo and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act are not affected.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and checked your return, we’ll let you know whether it’s approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Sale items are refunded at the price you paid.
If you haven’t received your refund, check with your bank or card provider first, as processing times vary. If it still hasn’t come through, contact us at mail@constructionproducts.co.nz.
Exchanges
If you need a different size or product, contact us and we’ll arrange a swap. Depending on your location, it may take a few days for the replacement to reach you.
