Ruby Red is a concentrated water-based, solvent boosted, foaming detergent with little to no odour. Developed initially as a caustic-free detail wash, Ruby Red has long been sought after for multiple cleaning applications.

Key properties:

  • Non-flammable, Non-corrosive and Non-DG.
  • Non-caustic, harmless to paint, laminates, tiles, timber, alloys & metal surfaces.
  • Excellent emulsification properties for suspending grease, oil, fats and road soils.
  • Concentrated water-based formulation.


  • Multipurpose wash: Including cars, motorcycles, tractors, trucks. For removal of dirt and soils from the surface coating, dilute up to 1:50 with water. Will dry streak free post rinse.
  • Boats: Suitable for use as an all-round general-purpose cleaner and engine room degreaser. For heavy grease removal apply at 2:1 Kerosene or 1:3 with water.
  • Pressure cleaners: Excellent foaming properties for increased detergent dwell time on vertical surfaces. Fast emulsification of soils when diluted at 1:50 with water.

 Quick use dilutions:

  • As a spray and wipe: Dilute 100ml Ruby Red to 1L of water (1:10).
  • As a detailed wash: Dilute 200ml Ruby Red to 9L of water (1:45).
  • Apply for 1-2 minutes and remove with the use of Guardian 350gsm Microfibre Cloth.
  • General purpose spray and wipe: Dilute 1:40 parts water.

Storage and shelf life:
Twelve months when stored in unopened, original containers. Storage area should be not exposed to extreme temperatures. Do not expose to direct sunlight in storage.
