200 micron (200mu) thick heavy duty rubbish bag, for containing and removing waste asbestos and contaminated materials from site.
This Asbestos Disposal Bag is a heavy‑duty polythene waste bag designed for safe containment and disposal of asbestos materials. It is printed with the required asbestos warning labels and meets the minimum 200 µm thickness standard required for asbestos waste containment in New Zealand.
Specifications:
- Dimensions: 600 mm width x 1,200 mm height
- Material / Thickness: 200 µm (0.2 mm) virgin polythene
- Printing: Clear asbestos hazard warnings (as per the code of practice)
- Format: flat bag (open at top) suitable for folding / double‑bagging

Guidelines:
- Always wet (dampen) asbestos debris before placing into bag to reduce fibre release
- Do not overfill bags; leave space to handle and seal properly
- Seal with a “gooseneck” tie and appropriate tape or cable tie
- Double-bagging is recommended per WorkSafe NZ guidelines
- Clean outer surface of bag before transporting out of controlled area
- Dispose at an approved asbestos landfill or facility
